Does playing ps3 games online use much data allowance?

we get 160 gig per month, on peak and off peak, i play a racing game with 1 friend and his mic,

will this really affect our our 160 gig?

he keeps bitching about how im on, but i hardly doubt it does considering i play one small game and my sisters are consantly on youtubeDoes playing ps3 games online use much data allowance?
it uses a lot in some games , not much in others - killzone 3 or uncharted 2 use lots because of the heavy graphics use and number of online players at once , games like zen pinball wouldn't use much at all - probably at most you'd use a gig a day playing online so 30 gigs a month - even if you used double that you'd have 100 gigs left .



either way , you'd never use 160 gigs a month even if you played 10 hours a day every day , I have 160 gigs a month limit too and with downloads of demos and games and playing online never get anywhere close to that amount ( and we share that among 5 people )



the only time I reached my cap was one time I downloaded about 20 HD movies , plus played online about 40 hours a week , re-downloaded about 50 games and 150 rock band songs after buying a second ps3 ( almost 50 gigs downloaded from that alone - took 3 days ) and had 5 others using the internet on their own computers . I had no connection and called my isp who said it was at the monthly cap and I couldn't get service until 4 days later when the new month started and it was reset at zero .
