Shooting- Metal Gear Solid 4 (MGS4)/ Resident Evel 5/Call of Duty 4
Racing - Ridge Racer 7. Grand Trismo 5 is also good but wait for that since the one that is out now is only the Prologue and the actual 5 is comeing out soon.
Sports- I dont play sports games but they have Madden 09 for football and FIFA 09 for soccer. They have other sports games but I cant name them off the top of my head.What is the best racing, shooting, and sports games to play online with the ps3?
FPS: I love killzone 2, its the best game ive played so far where you actualy feel every shot you fire but I have never played it online so i dont know how it is on multyplayer but my guess would still be really good. I did love bad company online though, it never gets boring.
Racing: Burnout Paradise, i havent played the latest one but all the other ones have been amazing and its the best rated game on gamespot.com for the ps3
Sports: FIFA Soccer 09, Pro Evo Soccer used to be much better but appanretly for the first time Fifa is classed better the Pro Evo for 2009,
Overall: Metal Gear Solid 4 and GTA 4 are probably the best games on the ps3, along with Resident Evil 4
