What are some fun virtual multiplayer games online, for free?

Where I can invite one of my friends to join me in the same room? I'm looking for game boards online, racing games, strategy games, virtual world games etc.

Has to be free, no trouble trying to invite my specific friend to join me in that, and has to be a fun game obviously.

I play on this site called Kongregate. They have thousands of games, and no matter which game you choose you will always be in a chatroom. You can pick whatever chatroom you want, or make your own. It lets you know when your friends are online, and has a link next to their name so you can join them in their room.



They have a good amount of multiplayer games too, so you and your friend can play the same game with eachother. One player games you guys can still play at the same time, and be in the same chatroom so you can give eachother hints, or just talk to eachother. But there are plenty of multiplayer ones if that's all you are interested in.



Another cool thing about the site is, for most of the games on that site, you earn points by playing them. When you earn points, you gain levels. Right next to your username in the chat room is a number. That number represents what level you are. You can play tons of games and earn points to get higher level, and compete with your friends to see who can get higher level, I do that with my boyfriend, lol. You don't have to or anything, but it's an idea if you guys get bored.
