What xbox 360 online games are any good NOT including Halo 3? fighting or racing games ideally?

Hey, im trying to find something on xbox live that me n my gf can play other than halo 3 (we play that far too much). Would like some ideas on other genres too ideally other than FPS games. Gears Of War although it is really old, is still one of the most rated and played xbox 360 games. It is multi player online (splitscreen) like halo. But is just more gorey. Gears Of War 2 is out in the 8th of November i think. So if you are going to buy it i would do it soon. And for only 拢10. Its a great buy!

The XBOX 360 - All the titles from this year are now all online (not many that are not!) this is due to the long wait on the release of games eg: The games we buy now which have been in the pipeline for over 6-7 months ago are now Online and are due for release, Mercenries 2 World in Flames was Developed late last year but with the LIVE online users In mind. Look out this September its going to be hot on the 360 Console.

Personaly GTA4 - GRAW2 - HALO3 or look out for Far Cry 2, Mecenries 2 World in Flames, Or even Aliens Coloniel Marines coming soon.

Well, in my personal opinion Forza and PGR do offer good multi-player/online modes and can be fantastic fun online but as with all racing games, it all depends on the lobby and how serious/talented the group of people you're racing with are!



As for the fighting games, most of them have poor online modes because the pace of the frantic button bashing is hampered by the slightest amount of lag (That said offline they're great)!!
